The Southeastern North Carolina Regional Microanalytical and Imaging Consortium is a joint collaboration between Fayetteville State University and The University of North Carolina at Pembroke.
The Consortium was established in 2009 and represents an effort on the part of both universities to build critically needed research infrastructure in southeastern North Carolina.
The mission of the Consortium is to provide state-of-the-art microanalytical and imaging capabilities for faculty, students, and staff at FSU, UNCP, and external agencies to support cutting-edge and transformative instruction and research.
The Consortium is also available for use by industry, who are encouraged to involve FSU and UNCP students in their work.
